What are the best North Shore parks for your party?

We are constantly being asked “What are the best outdoor locations to hold a LaserWarriors party?” So we’re compiling a list of our top parks in each area of Sydney, for a new series of blog posts!

All the parks that we recommend are well maintained with lots of trees and shrubbery that the kids can use for cover and all have, that very important necessity, public toilet facilities!

Here are our top 5 parks and playgrounds from the upper to the lower North Shore of Sydney.

1. Wahroonga Park

On the upper North Shore set amongst beautiful mature gardens and trees, this sprawling parkland has everything you need for your event.

2. Yamble Reserve

Not too far from Lane Cove Road in Ryde, you will find Yamble Reserve. With picnic shelters overlooking beautiful lawns it is perfect for holding your party. The kids playground is also a real treat, it has been specially designed for all abilities, with specialised equipment.

3. Gordon Recreational Grounds / Werona Park

Tucked away in a handy, central location is Gordon Park. With tennis courts and plenty of trees for laser tag cover it’s a great spot for the 10yrs+ age group. Not ideal for younger kids as there is no real playground area and it is not fenced.

4. St Leonards Park

One of North Sydney’s largest parks, St Leonards Park is a spacious green sanctuary within a built-up area. With cricket nets, large fig trees and BBQ facilities it is centrally located, making it convenient for lower North Shore residents.

5. Warners Park Northbridge

Set off the beaten track and frequented by locals, Warners Park has lots of interesting

areas for kids to play in, including a mini bushwalk area. With plenty of shelter and seating areas it’s ideal for holding an outdoor party.
